I graduated in Theoretical Physics at the University of London
(
Royal Holloway College) and later completed a PhD on
causal inference in quantum mechanics at the
University of the
Basque Country, UPV/EHU.
I have held postdoc positions at CPNSS, LSE (funded by the Basque Regional Government), Complutense University of Madrid, and the University of the Basque Country.
At present I am an Associate Professor in the
Department of Logic and Theoretical Philosophy, Complutense University of Madrid.

Research
My research interests include causal inference in genuinely indeterministic
contexts in general, and quantum mechanics in particular. More
specifically, I have focused on the relation between causality, locality (or non-locality) and indeterminism in quantum mechanics.
Lately I have also become interested on epistemological issues of computer simulations, such as emergence or epistemic opacity, and scientific representation, especially in the context of climate change models and simulations.
